The initial Fixwise beta requires no account and contains no analytics SDK, advertising identifier, affiliate link, or repair-service lead sale. Saved decisions, appliance records, imported documents, OCR text, and outcome notes remain in local app storage.
Selected photos and documents are processed or copied locally. Fixwise does not upload them in build 1. External official pages have their own privacy practices.

Minimal collection by design
Effective July 29, 2026. Build 1 requires no account and does not operate a cloud assessment database. It does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, payment information, or browsing history, and it does not sell personal information.
Model-tag and quote images use Apple’s system photo picker and on-device text recognition. The image is not retained. Confirmed text may be stored locally if the user saves the record. Imported receipts, warranties, and manuals are copied into local app storage.
Users may delete saved cases and appliance records in the app. Removing Fixwise removes local app data subject to device backup behavior controlled by the user. Questions: support@fixwise.app.

Information, not clearance
Fixwise does not diagnose faults, certify safety, determine warranty eligibility, perform an authoritative recall match, predict exact remaining life, or guarantee savings or repair outcomes.
Stop using an appliance and seek qualified help for smoke, fire, sparking, gas odor, electrical shock, overheating, flooding near electrical components, structural instability, or another immediate hazard. Verify recalls and warranty coverage with official sources.
OCR suggestions must be checked against the original document or label. “Repair,” “replace,” and “verify first” are decision directions, not commands.
