Privacy policy
Minimal collection by design.
Effective July 29, 2026 · Applies to Fixwise beta build 1.
What the app collects
Build 1 requires no account and does not operate a cloud assessment database. It does not collect analytics, advertising identifiers, precise location, contacts, payment information, or browsing history, and it does not sell personal information.
Local information
Saved decisions, appliance records, confirmed OCR text, imported documents, maintenance entries, and outcome notes are stored locally in the app. Model-tag and quote images use Apple’s system photo picker and on-device text recognition. Selected images are not retained by Fixwise after processing unless the user separately imports a document into the local vault.
External links
Fixwise links to official sources such as the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and ENERGY STAR. Those external services have their own privacy practices. Fixwise does not send your saved assessment to them.
Deletion and device backups
Users can delete saved cases and appliance records inside the app. Removing Fixwise removes its local app data, subject to device backup behavior controlled by the user through Apple.
Beta invitation email
If you request a beta invitation by email, your message is handled by the email providers used by you and NashForward. It is used to respond to the request and provide beta support. Do not send sensitive documents or full serial numbers.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date. Privacy questions or deletion concerns may be sent to support@fixwise.app.
