Terms and safety

Information, not clearance.

Fixwise provides informational decision support. It does not diagnose faults, certify safety, determine warranty eligibility, perform an authoritative recall match, predict exact remaining life, recommend a specific provider, or guarantee savings or repair outcomes.

Urgent hazards

Stop using an appliance and seek qualified help for smoke, fire, sparking, gas odor, electrical shock, overheating, flooding near electrical components, structural instability, or another immediate hazard. Contact emergency services when appropriate.

Verify important information

Verify recalls with the relevant official agency or manufacturer. Verify warranty and service-plan coverage with the provider. Confirm repair scope, parts, exclusions, and warranty with a qualified technician. OCR suggestions must be checked against the original label or document.

Decision directions

“Repair,” “replace,” and “verify first” are directions for organizing a decision, not commands. The user remains responsible for the final choice and for selecting qualified services.

Independent recommendations

Build 1 contains no paid placement, affiliate link, advertisement, or repair-service lead sale. If commercial referrals are introduced later, they will be disclosed and will not alter the decision calculation.

Beta software

The beta may change and may contain defects. Keep original receipts, warranties, service records, and safety documentation outside Fixwise. Report reproducible issues through Fixwise Support.
